Woodcrest or Conroe. Some suggest all Woodcrest, others suggest Woodcrest in some models and Conroe in others. We'll know soon enough. Woodcrest is the Xeon 5100 series, Conroe the Core 2 Duo E6000 series.
All woodcrest lineup with various speeds with 3GHz being the top model. / This is the most traditional Apple rout.
Historically apple tends to have an all dual socket lineup at the announcement, and then scale it back in about 4 months, and add one single socket version at that time.
Being that this is an all new ball game with intel, and new processors we'll soon see. But a Dual Socket Dual Core 3GHz model is what I expect to see as a high point of the WWDC announcement. Which is a week from this Tuesday on Aug 7th.

Oh wait, that the old Apple...

Only Steve knows for sure and I don't think he really knows.

In light of recent price cuts, my bet is on an all Pentium D lineup. Apple will clean up!

Intel Core 2 Duo:
Conroe and/or Woodcrest..
Woodcrest would be needed for a quad core system, Conroe for maybe the first two models..
Hit Wikipedia for detailed info on these processors.
*plays it safe*
