MacBookPro (Merom 64bit) with 4G Ram

is it realistic to hope that with the next MBP update that will feature merom 64bit we will get the option to insert 4G Ram into it?

There is any advantage to have a 64bit into a laptop when running app. like Photoshop??

or it is worth only when you can adresse more than 4G of Ram (so not the case of a laptop)
