Just picked up a mac pro
I just got my mac pro today.
I bought it on the way home from the gym.. the retail store had sold 3 before I'd even come in that day.
I didn't get to open it for another 2 hours, and didn't get to turn it on until I'd put in 3 more hard drives which was 6 hours later, and I just turned it on for the first time an hour ago
Fantastic machine.. can't wait to start working with it.
I do have a question about video cards though.
I heard you can do a flash upgrade on a 7800 for PC and get it to work with a mac.. Is this true? I only have about $300 left to spend on this thing until next month, and I don't want to pay $500 for a video card from Apple
