emergency help!!!1

i have a g4 ibook running Tiger. I turned my computer on today and everything was reset to factory settings. The desktop only has the harddrive on it. My dock was reset to what it is originally and itunes, iphoto and my address book are empty. What the hell happened and how do i fix it.

    Is it possible that you are logged into a different account on your machine somehow?

    Can you recall the last few things you did with your computer?

    (Un-)Installing something, trashing soemthing, ...

    (Hopefully you didn't lend it to your best friend.)
