Real player and quicktime

Hello,



Does anyone know of any plugins or codecs for quicktime which will allow it to play real media? This would be a great great help as i have alot of videos in real video (.rv) and i hate using real player because of all the adware and other annoying things that come with it.



I just switched about 3 days ago to Macs and i used to use real alternative to play those real files. If you know of any equivalent programs to real alt for Mac, if there are no plugins for quick time, that would be awesome.

    No. There are no Real Media QuickTime codecs for the Mac available to the public. However, you can download the Mac version of Real Player. Whatever you may think of Real's business practices, the Mac version of the player works well. The built-in browser is about equal to Safari and Opera in its compliance with W3C web standards. All three pass the Torture Test.
