I recently used Monolingual to delete extra language files and input methods to save about 2.4 gigs of space on my computer.....

I wish I had read the FAQ

I deleted the Power PC architechture which hence disables rosestta from working

How can I reinstall the power pc architecture?

Archive and install. And maybe don't wonk over that space on the boot volume. If you are cutting the drive capacity that close you need a second data only drive.

You can tailor the install size a bit during the reinstall phase, there are a lot of printer drivers that are unneeded and can be deselected and not installed in the first place as well as deselecting some of the language packages. Then you end up with a slightly smaller install and no mucking around with it after the fact.

I deleted just all unused languages, and left Architecture and Input Menus alone. I got rid of 2.2 gigs. I hope that doesn't piss you off further. You'll get out of this puzzle soon enough, good luck.

Archive and install. Trying to do it any other way is asking for trouble, as we don't know where some essential parts of that system may be.

You could just try an upgrade install first, and see if the installer realizes that something is missing. I doubt it would go beyond checking the version though.
