I need to convert some videos to Real Media format (.rm). Is there any mac video converter that can convert avi/mpeg movies into Real media format? If you know. Please help me urgently! Thank you!

I think .rm works differently than most formats in that it's just a file that references a streaming server, can anybody confirm/disprove this?

Nah, .ram references the streaming server (I think) .rm is actually some kind of format - even if it's just a wrapper around a more standard format.

As for the actual question, I looked around a few months ago for a conversion tool and couldn't find one. I was however looking to go the other way, convert .rm audio files to .mp3 or some such so I could store them in iTunes.

    Huh. Video on the hand...
