What does this message mean?

Hi,



I was just looking through my system.log file (just discoveed it) and found this entry repeated multiple times every day.



Aug 31 19:19:59 mohan-doss-computer kernel[0]: Stealth Mode connection attempt to TCP 10.0.1.2:50214 from 204.11.109.63:80



What does this mean and what is the result?

    Someone appears to be trying to connect through port 80 (HTTP) to your computer's port 50214.



    Port 50214 doesn't show up in the list of registered service ports though, so maybe it's a windows worm attempting to compromise your machine.



    In any case, it doesn't look like a typical SSH or FTP attack. I wouldn't worry about it.
