Final Cut Pro and QuickTime 6
Apple does not advise installing QuickTime 6 for Final Cut Pro users, it says on the FCP website. SO, what is going to happen August 24th come around? An update? An UPGRADE!? What can't we install it now?
Because the QT Pro keys do not work and for people who have payed S1000+ over the years are going to get sugary-mad over something as this. "We have already pay for it in the price!"
So yeah, what's up? <img src="graemlins/smokin.gif" border="0" alt="[Chilling]" />

QuickTime Pro is only for the QT Player and allows you to save QT movies on the net. That's it.
Other third party apps that use QT like Media Cleaner, Premiere, Flash, Final Cut Pro, etc etc can use ALL QT features.
I am running QT 6 with FCP and so far no problem. I can capture, output videos okay. I find it even better than version 5
