Does Apple always offer students something free?
My wife and I have been planning on getting a new iMac within the next 6 months or so, and today I noticed Apple is giving rebates for $179 towards the purchase of an iPod nano if you buy a new Mac. Thing is, it expires on Sept 12. Over the past few years, has Apple consistently offered similar deals for students? A silly promotion seems like a lame reason to purchase something before I'm ready, but if I ebay'd the nano, it could effectively shave $120 or so off the purchase price...hmmm
