Intel wimax is due for an announcement.... apple stores are well placed for the wimax 30 mile radius transmission, new ipod phone service....movie (store)....can these all fit together or am i seeing crop circles in the phoenix desert again? Subscribe to a new iTunes connected through their wimax which has bittorrent and whalla, the world has changed, 1000 movies in your pancakes and your phone is voip.

Realistically, WiMax is so slow at 30 miles it's useless. If you want reasonable speed, think under 5 miles. And even at that distance there might not be enough bandwidth to deliver movies.



But if you want to entertain yourself, look up the Wal-Mart WiMax rumors that were going around.
