ipod voice recorder

Hi there,



I have a 5g ipod and I'd like to record audio from my lectures on it.



Can anyone recommend a good solution?



I'm not that concerned about sound quality, just battery time, it really need to last at least three hours.

But I've heard that the battery life isn't too good.



I really dont need cd quality stereo input with pointless lights, just something that will last through three or four lectures!!



Maybe I'd be better off just getting a digital dictaphone.

I really thought they'd add a mic to the iPod by now. I wanted to record all 4 years of college. Oh well. I hope by the time I go to law school in a few years they'll finally have gotten off their asses with that. It's really shocking they haven't done this yet.
