does anyone know if apple is going to release a update for the previous genration iPods? Also if there is a update will it have gapless playback and the search feature?
1G nano's are now obsolete and will not be supported by Apple any longer. Once a new generation iPod comes out, Apple stops support for the previous generation.
Time to go and by a new nano to replace your dated obsolete nano (in fact I need to replace my 3 month old nano with a new 8GB model (too many podcasts)).
What about that original Video iPod (such as the 60GB model)? They're not obsolete and from what i gather they have the same hardwear as the newest versions (as in the 80GB model).
So where is the search function....? It had better be in the pipeline.
