ACELP.net / Audible.com
I went to try out Audible.com, and downloaded the free Robin WIlliams interview. Then I discovered that it was encoded using ACELP technology, which had me thinking.
My lecturer puts his lectures online with ACELP.net formats. And since Audible.com uses Acelp, i figured that i might be able to use iTunes 3 to listen to my lecturer. But no such luck. It seems that there is a difference between ACELP.net and the Audible acelp format.
For Windows there is an application called SPOTxde to listen to these files, but there is no mac counterpart. (http://www.voiceage-spot.com/html/home.asp)
Does anyone know if there is any way that I can listen to ACELP.net files on my PowerBook G4 ?
Thanks for any help!
