ScanSnap FI-5110
I just bought one, and I can't wait for it to arrive. I was a little hesitant, since I already have a pretty good flatbed scanner, but the reviews on Amazon (Link) seem to indicate that this product is nothing short of life-altering. I actually bought from a different vendor who sold it for $370 shipped. This does take into question the $50 rebate from Fujitsu, though.
Double-sided scanning, 15ppm, 50 sheet feeder, 150dpi PDF output. Every other sheet scanner is PC only, so this is a true gem.
The best part is that a decent filing cabinet with hanging folders ends up costing about the same, takes up a hell of a lot more space, and does little to protect against fire, flood, or hurricane damage. (Around these parts these are all legitimate concerns)
