Removing Items from the Context Menu

    Which contextual menu? In general the answer is no, as the mechanism for deciding what to place in the contextual menu is a communication to the app that is active at the moment.

    the OS context. i'd like to be able to add and remove items from the menu.

    I don't know about removing, but you can install http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/18505 and see what it does.
