Just curious if anyone knows how to change the default browser in OS X. Right now it's IE on my iBook, and would like to change it to Chimera. Thanks.

    Since you mentioned Chimera...

I just downloaded it last night and tried it out. It's great. Much faster than IE. I might be switching my default browser too.

After some updates, like IE 5.2.1, you may notice that your default web apps all reset to the system defaults(like Mail.app, IE, etc.). To make it easier to change back, download <a href="http://www.versiontracker.com/moreinfo.fcgi?id=14170&db=mac"; target="_blank">Browser Wars.</a> It won't stop the switch, just make it easier to switch back.

I will have to download that I just installed Mozilla 1.0 today and I like Mozilla much better than IE 5.2.1. When I had my PC I liked IE the best because really that is the best option for the PC side. Chimera is pretty cool seems very solid, but I still seem to like mozilla more although it is only version .4 and mozilla is @ 1.0.
