I posted this to Macintouch but nobody replied.... where's the love?? Not the first time that's happened to me either

Maybe someone here can help me with what I'm looking for. I'm going to see this client tomorrow so I'd like to have a suggestion for him

Below is a copy of what I sent. Maybe I need to try some kind of flash/html/kiosk setup? I don't know flash so I'd like to avoid learning it but if I have no choice.....

TIA for any help you can provide.

I'm looking for a program to do a slideshow on a dual monitor setup. Specifically I'd have a MacBook Pro connected to an external LCD.

I'd like to have a Front Row style menu on the MacBook screen to select the iPhoto slideshow to play and then have that slideshow play on the external screen. During the slideshow, the MacBook will continue to display the list of available slideshows and selecting one will start the slideshow on the external monitor, even if one is already playing.

This is going to be a kiosk type setup so I'd like to be able to keep the computer in the slideshow mode unless some password or key combo is typed but I can live without this if need be.

If there's no Mac solution to this problem, PC ones will be ok.

Keynote is a very good slideshow app. It kind of does what you want in that it allows to see what is about to play on screen 1 while showing the slideshow on screen 2. You could easily have a tree of slideshows.

I use Keynote all the time for presentations. I used it for an award ceremony recently and it had DVD quality movies, images etc all fading in and out on large plasma displays.
