Spotlight Issues

Hello All, I apologize in advance if there's already a thread that addresses this problem, but I couldn't find it with the search feature on this site.



I recently imported photos into iPhoto and then went to look for them using Spotlight, only to discover that Spotlight didn't find those pictures. I labeled them with the name (persons name) and even put that persons name in comments. Why isn't Spotlight seeing these pictures? Is there something I need to do in order to get Spotlight to see them?

    I apologize for not giving these in the intial posting.



    Mac OS 10.4.7

    iPhoto 6.0.5



    This behavior exhibited itself prior to the recent iPhoto update as well.

    I couldn't get iPhoto to make it happen for me, so I did the only other thing I could think of. I went into the iPhoto library and found those pics in the originals folder and one at a time CMD+I'd them and added the name to the Spotlight section. Now it works. It's simply the strangest thing I've seen iPhoto do.
