2nd gen ipod nano 8gb help

Hi everyone i need some advise. I just brought my new ipod on sunday and for some reason it wont update my playlists to show on my actual ipod screen. i Know its not the settings or software as my 5th gen ipod photo is updating and working normaly on itunes 7 on my pc. Do you think the ipods got a fault? Oh yea if i plug my ipod into my xbox 360 i can see my playlist????

    Are they smart playlists? Do they involve date? if they are check my posts on Smart Playlists

    i don't think your ipod can share playslists with xbox 360.
