I'm trying to allow access to my public folder via .mac's webpage but it asks for a username and password when there are neither set. I can't access the webpage from the .mac homepage either.

I get the following message:

'To view this page, you need to log in to area ?idisk.mac.com? on idisk.mac.com.'

'your password will be sent in the clear'

and username/password fields.

There's no problem getting access via the finder.

Go to SYS PREFS>,MAC>iDISK . Check the options in the public folder section.
