I have Texas Hold 'Em, Zuma and Tetris and enjoy them quite a bit when on-call. I find that they tend to suck the batteries dry. Probably because the backlight must stay on for me to see what is going on. My 5G 30GB iPod lasts maybe 2.5 hours while playing games. Yes you can listen to your own music while playing games, but you cannot control the music. You have to exit out of the games to do it. Of these three games, I find the tetris controls to be the only one that isn't well executed. You move the pieces left and right by scolling rather than by pressing left and right. I find that as the bricks fall faster and faster, they become more hard to precicsely control this way. Texas Hold 'Em and Zumas controls are just fine.
I got Tetris (agree with Kickaha about the controls), Pac Man (the original music... oh the memories of "lost" quarters) and Golf, which is my favorite. The graphics are fantastic and the stages each have their challenges. Just wish there were more stages.
The games are great for short use (they eat battery power) and are pretty well-done. Hopefully, Aplle (and other thrids parties) will come out with more games in the future.
i have tetris (agree on the sucky controls + horrible graphics/design), mahjong (haven't played it much) and bejeweled (i actually like it a lot).
one thing i noticed though is that the volume of my music playing jumps up quite a bit when a game starts. it's quite annoying - has anyone noticed this?

I just wish you could demo them to see how well the controls work.
