It's not impossible it'd be earlier, but given the current state of the Leopard beta, and hints Jobs dropped about OS X for Intel being a time-consuming effort on Apple's part, I'd take "spring" to actually mean spring. As in, like, April.
If they can pull it off, though, March 24 would certainly be a neat date.

You are aware March 24th is a on Saturday right? Anyway Spring starts officially on the 20th of March, which is a Tuesday, do the math.
