Wireless Keyboard and Mouse: Q&A

I'm placing an order in for my new Mac soon and wondered if it was worth getting the wireless keyboard and mouse? Generally how well do they perform? (Compared to the wired), How long to the batteries last etc?



Any advice etc. would be greatly appreciated.
