Enhanced iPod? Worthy of my $$$?

I'll be buying either a 30gb or a 60gb soon but with the enhanced ones out, I realize the price of the originals has dropped. I have a decision to make....



So, if anyone has a "Jack Sparrow" ipod, let me know if they're more worth the extra $50 something dollars or if I should just buy the "U2" pictured one. (know what i mean?)

    The screen is SIGNIFICANTLY brighter on the new ones. The Search feature is kinda pointless if you know how to use playlists to organize your music. Other than that, the 5G iPods can do everything the 5.5G iPods can do but have 20GB more on the high end and a significantly brighter screen.

    Well that's good to know.

    I don't know if I'm gonna go for the brighter screen yet. It may not be worth it.

    They also have substantially better video battery life, if you're planning on watching any video on it. (3.5 up from 2 for the 30 Gb model).
