Apple Retaiil Store's iPod inventory
Hi All,
Does anyone know what the Apple Retail Stores do with their inventory of iPods they no longer offer (e.g. the 60 gb 5g iPod)?
A buddy of mine told me that the stores don't relly maintain any "stock room" inventory of iPods, but rather that they just replenish them as they're sold. Does this seem to make sense to anyone? Also, does anyone know where teh stores get thier iPods? ARe they shipped from California, or is there another warehosue somewhere else? I heard that some iPods are made (final assembly) in Pennsylvania, but I
m pretty sure that all assembly is done in China. I'd be really curious about any of the locations where they ship from. Thanks & happy Monday!
