30" Cinema dancing green pixel problem

Anyone running a 30" ACD with a G5 tower and GeForce 6600 who is NOT having the dancing, flickering pixel problems I've read so much about? I've been saving my pennies for a new display but these reports (at Apple Discussions and elsewhere) are discouraging. Apparently some are having the same problems with the 30" Dell.

    mine's simply perfect but I got it when the QUAD (the REAL Quad) came out, in Nov. 2005 (before the latest revision) so things are different here I guess.

    Well, if you're using the GF 6600, that's a good sign. I'm not sure if it's only the newer displays that have the problem. My G5's a dual core 2.0Ghz from late 2005.

    I got a new 30" two days ago, and the problem just appeared after two days.



    What the hell is wrong with Apple nowadays. Their quality--especially with the displays--has slid down the toilet.
