    I know Apple already have the latest iPods out and everything but I'm rather shocked there is no fanfare on the Apple website or in the iTunes Store Would have been cool if they at least had the iPod Video and five candles in a circle around the iPod and just sad "Happy Birthday." short, sweet and to the point. Oh well.

    Considering that it is the iPod that is responsible so much for Apple's current financial health, I am also suprised that there is not more fanfare surrounding the anniversary of this landmark product. Maybe they just couldn't get the 6G ipod ready in time?

    i think apple didnt do anything special because they are focusing on the Mac
