We just ordered a new MBP pro for my mother, who is new to Mac, but very computer literate. She wants a book that will give her the low-down, but isn't so elemental as to be a waste of time. Suggestions?

    I've always heard good things about the "Missing Manual" series.

    David Pogue's Missing Manual will be a nice read for your Mother.
