OmniWeb Browser Flaw with .mac

I have found a very unfortunate problem with OmniWeb 4.1 when using it to view my .mac homepage.

I will post a link and you see if you can get it to work.

The problem is that at the top of my webpage are all the links that you can click to go to the respective pages. Only one problem with OmniWeb.... The pointer will not turn to a pointing finger and actually allow the user to click on any of the links on the top row of links at the top of the page. Only the links on the 2nd and 3rd rows down are clickable.

What a letdown... Can not navigate with ease through a .mac webpage with OmniWeb

It works fine on Internet Explorer

Also for any who may know...

Why does not the page counter in my .mac webpage show up on OmniWeb?

It shows up on IE.

Thank you... here is a link for you to see for yourself if you are indeed running OmniWeb that is.

    Oh my! That *is* strange!

I suggest you send that link with a description of the problem to [email protected] .

Hmmm. Testing a theory, I just inserted a &lt;BR&gt; in the code at the top of that page, and the links at the top all worked fine again. I suspect that this may be a problem OmniWeb simply ignoring the first line there altogether.

Now, don't forget to send off that e-mail!

It seemed to work fine for me.

I get that problem with the counter on my pages too. OW just sucks for using it with .mac because of the javascript on the pages. I can't do anything with it, even view a slideshow w/o having some trouble. I wish they would fix this browser so I don't have to use IE at all.

    /me waiting patiently for v5.0.

Not to make light of your issue Fellowship but, Mac users make up 5% or so of the computer users. I'd guess OmniWeb users are even lower, maybe 20% of the mac users <img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laughing]" />

    I think overall it's a non-issue

send an email to OmniWeb and maybe some year they will fix the issues they have with the browser.

That's exactly why I still use IE is because you have minor annoyances like that with Omni Web, Mozilla.
