LoopRumors Says MWSF For Leopard
I know this is old news but LoopRumors is stating that Leopard will be previewed and released at MWSF. Does anyone know their track record? They did have the four part report about Leopard prior to the unveiling at WWDC in August and most of what they mentioned was previewed.
I myself get more excited about OS releases then updates to the hardware so I would love it if this were true!

Comments
Their track record is poor.
Well they did have information on Lepard (with screenshots) before anyone else so maybe they are in the loop (pun intended) about Leopard?
If so, it makes me wonder if these new features will just be apps and not system features. Can anyone comment on the general running of Leopard as it stands - is it faster, smoother, less resource hungry than Tiger, less beachballs or is it largely the same with more features?
January 8-12 seems a bit early but I don't know how stable Leopard is at the moment. It would be nice because although I don't want to get it right away, I want the bugs to be weeded out by the time I'd want it around March. Does nobody have an idea what these secret features are yet? I mean are there no hints in the Developer versions at all?

Apple will not implament the "Top Secret" features into their external developer builds and likely not most of their internal developer builds as developers do not need them to take advantage of their apps so we will not see these features until MWSF.
To quote LoopRumors again...
iPhone integration
Yes, it's true. Apple is planning on developing an iPhone and many of the features are outlined here. Much like iTunes accompanied the iPod, Leopard will accompany the iPhone. Several of Leopard's applications will share information and sync with the forthcoming iPhone, including Address Book, iTunes mobile, Mail, iPhoto, iCal, iChat, and others.
Live TV?
The information we have regarding Live TV is limited. Murmurs of Apple using live TV and video streams is prevalent but nothing is concrete at this point. This may refer to the next section of this article that refers to the next version of Front Row.
Front Row 2.0
Front Row will see an overhaul and will mimic the forthcoming iTV's user interface. The latest information regarding iTV suggests it will use 802.11n and have a hard drive that acts as a TiVo.
Simultaneous Operating Systems
Hints that Apple will enable an option for "Windows" under Fast User Switching exist. Currently, Boot Camp users need to decide which operating system they want to run, and the Mac becomes dedicated to that platform. If true, under Leopard, users can dual boot and fast user switch to Windows and back again to the Mac.
Core Animation Everywhere
Steve gave us a hint of what they're capable of with the new Core 3D Animation technology during the keynote. Leopard will allow users to flip through files, folders, albums, photos and so on, just the same way we can flip through album covers in iTunes 7 today.
When I first saw CoreAnimation in action my first thought was they will implament it into the Finder much like Project Looking Glass from Sun Micro Systems (http://www.sun.com/software/looking_glass/).
Simultaneous Operating Systems sounds like a very Apple like feature and would be very impressive.
Does anyone know their track record?
They need some more site hits to stay in business, if that helps.
