Two different educational dealerships that sell macs and pcs but mostly software and did not have the interest of pushing the models on the floor only said this: " the new macs will be at speeds of 1.2,1.4, and 1.6 mhz. One said it would be a G4 and the other a G5. This is also rumored on the Maya sites. For those who think it will be less than 1 ghz that would be suicidal for the mac. especially for us who do multimedia. If so, by Tuesday I will be 100% intel inside although I love my mac. As a game maker I am pushed to the limit in programming as it so much easier in Visual C++ and Direct X. Remember though I am a rare breed on the mac making them instead of just using them.
