so no ones laughing or posting ridicule at this "news"

is now a good time to invest in an antivirus company?

no point in investing in an antivirus company. M$ has denied access to core functions to Anti-virus companies. This may handicap their ability to address some issues. Of course if you sign up for M$ One-care, their antivirus will take care of you.

You could invest in M$ though, there are bound to be plenty of clueless idiots licking up Vista once it comes out.

I wonder if XP will go down in price when Vista comes out? I'd like to bootcamp my macbook pro, but not at current XP prices.

More like $135 if you want XP pro with SP2 in new packaging with a license - but it is cheaper than I thought. I think that I will go for it now - by all accounts Vista is very unstable, and XP may go up in price 8)
