Hi, i was wondering if anyone could help. I recently inhereted an old iMac G3, i'd like to run classic on it but don't know where i can get os9 discs from.

I have managed to get hold of a copy of system 7 which is fine because it's only going in my garage, the thing is i have no idea how to burn the disc in windows. I have an iMac G5 but the burner on that isn't working at the moment so i can't do it using osx, i'm stuck in windows.

Here is the links to the files i've downloaded

Erm, both those are just upgrades for os9. I would love a copy of os9 but i can't seem to find where to buy one.

Like i said in my original post, apple has made system 7 available for free but you need mac os to install it..... this doesn't help me because i only have access to a windows pc at the moment.

Isn't MacOS 9 included on some MacOSX install CDs/DVDs? I seem to remember that it is.

    Also there's always ebay:

System 7 doesn't run on PPC. I think OS 8.1 is the minimum for the iMac.

I might have some OS 9 discs lying around. I'll see what I can dig up.
