how to disable some animations?

Hi!
I do not want two animations anymore, is it possible to disable them?
I am talking about the following animations:
- click "Macintosh HD" and then the Finder "zooms" out of the icon
- open/save dialogs "unfold" out of the title bar

I think you can speed up the unfold animation somehow. The other one I don't know about.
