I'm looking to buy a new IPod within the next month. Is there going to be anything new by Christmas?

    I wouldn't think so. We probably won't see the 6G for several months.

    My gut feeling at this point says no, but with Apple you can never be fully sure.

    I have to agree with this.



    And, if you're wanting to buy it as a christmas gift, get them now. I don't think you want to join the numerous people who are left calling every apple-authorized dealer seeing if they have any in. (this is usually just for the nanos.)
