Check It: CNET puts 8-cores in Mac Pro (Benchmarks!)

CNET put Intels new 4 core chip (two of them) in a Mac Pro. These benchmarks are show amazing performance compared to the four cores.

    how much $? Can't be cheap for sure... (with latest Intel high end runing >$1000 per chip)... By the way, the playstation 3 got (8-1) core inside (all on the same cell chip=8 core with one disabled... for <$600 per system). Fun indeed if the Mac would be cheap (doesn't look like going to get a 8 core Mac for X-mas, even I have been very very "good" ;-(

    So? A single Intel core most likely beats one of the PS3's SPE units like there is no tomorrow.

    "Most likely?"...hmmm, based on what? Price? No tomorrow indeed... If you are talking technical, be specific please... (devil is in the details)...
