I'm looking for the best FM modulator for the 5th and 5.5G iPods. My brother has the Belkin TuneBase which he likes, but it's kind of pricey and only comes in black. So I'm looking for suggestions. For my old 4G I had the first model iTrip and it was alright, the reception wasn't great so the sound quality wasn't either. Thanks for any suggestions you have.

In radio equipment, you usually get what you pay for. The same goes for iPod radio products, which probably all come from various OEM/ODM radio products.

Ok, you get what you pay for. But what have you all paid for that you recommend? Thanks.

The Belkin Tunecast II was awesome for me. I used it everyday - I liked it because plugging it into the lighter plug didn't suck on batteries (like the tunecast I), and it sounded great - much better than the iTrip or anything. I got it for $8 on eBay a long time ago. Now I have a CD Player and am wanting another FM transmitter, but they are all so dang expensive
