Spell Checker in Mail quirk!

Has anyone else noticed this strange problem? When I type "Dr." (minus the quotes) spell checker will underline the "Dr" thinking it is misspelled. The correction it offers is "Dr." (note the period). I select the correction, and end up with "Dr.." and then the spell checker again underlines "Dr"! This is just one of a few other strange things that I've noticed the spell checker doing.



Anyone else see some strange spell checker behavior?
