Hi,
Can anyone confirm whether than 15" MBP with 1GB of ram comes with
1 x 1GB. or 2 x 512MB?

Yeah, he's right. But before I ordered my extra 1GB of RAM, I just opened it up and double-checked. It's actually very easy. But I've come to expect that from Apple, I guess. 8)
