Apple Care?

If you purchase an IPod from a store (BestBuy, Target, etc) other than the AppleStore, can you still purchase AppleCare? Or is it even worth purchasing AppleCare for the 30 or 80 GB Ipod?

    You can purchase AppleCare from anywhere. All you are paying for is a serial number.
