External HD

I've got an iomega hdd which won't register on either of my computers (G5 quad or MBP) .The light turns on and it spins. And recomendations?

    I'd get a new hard drive.



    Not being glib, but data protection is too important. If two Mac's can't read it, the drive may be in trouble.

    I was able to force a read from a linux drive. I backed it up and am reformatting it to ext2 (macs can read) and then i'll reformat to fat or something.
