New Mac User with a 15'' MacBook Pro (HELP)

Guy's sorry if it posted before but im new in this forum.. i've purchesed Macbook pro "Core Duo" last week but i noticed somthing that whenever i close the led of my macbook pro "standby mode" and after 4-5 hrs when i opened it again it req. from me my password and whenever i typed it the screen goes black ! ONLY the pointer is there But if i opened it within 2-3 hrs every thing goes normal... Need ur help & thanks in advanced.

    Check for a firmware update. One has been released to address the MacBook Pro waking from sleep. It may solve your problem.
