In relation to my 20" iMac
I wondered if anyone could help me.
I've had my iMac for about a month and a half now. When I first got it it was literally silent, now the machine has become louder and the fan noise is noticable. When I put my ear up to it, the fan noise sounds strange aswell, almost 'sluggish'. Sometimes the machine also makes weird noises that sound rather like a disc is spinning around (but spinning around all over the place), there isn't actually anything inserted into the disc drive either.
Also, at the bottom of the screen where it meets the case, there is a gap between the screen and the case. It just seems like a quality issue.
Anyway, I'm generally not happy with the quality of the machine and wondered what would happen if I attempted to send it back? (what would they do to resolve the issues?).
Thanks

I would definitely take it back. A dying fan in a month-old machine is a definite problem.
