insidious popup

Whats with the horrible pop-ups saying there is a problem with the registry and doesnt matter what you click, it takes you to another website. Had it happen on the appleinsider main page and more frequently on www.macrumors.com Is there a fix and is it doing anything nasty?

    It won't do damage to your machine, but I'd love to know why the admins of these sites are allowing this to happen. Errorsafe is malware for Windows, and won't do anybody any good.

    If you see the ad again, please right-click it to copy the address. Paste the address into a PM to Kasper or myself and we'll take it from there.



    We have asked the ad companies, explicitly, to keep certain types of ads away from us ... they seem to have a habit of forgetting.
