SERIOUS AppleWorks problems!

I am having some serious problems with the Spread Sheet portion of AppleWorks 6.2.4. Whenever I go to move a "cell" to different locations, much of the entered data is completely altered. For example, random symbols and numbers will replace certain areas where there were words or test scores originally. I then have to go through the ENTIRE document and edit every single little detail back to how it was originally.



Has anyone else experienced this problem? Is there any known fix for this at all? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    As I use Excel I'm not certain what the problem is. It looks however that the format of the 2 cells is not the same. Format can be: Date, Number, Text, Time etc. etc. Try start 'select all' and set the cell format best to serve your need for the sheet. Then try and move the cell and it should stay the same after moving. Hope it helps
