Powerbook to Beamer
Hey all,
I'm about to step up for a projector. Probably going for the Dell 2400MP. I currently work off of a 15" G4 Powerbook (1.25GH). The laptop runs 1280x854. The beamer runs 1024x768.
I need to mirror to the beamer. When I bump the laptop down to 1024x768 the LCD goes soft. Looks like it's doing a bad resize or something.
I will be projecting stills for clients during photoshoots, so I need as sharp as I can get (within my budget).
questions;
1. why does the Powerbook display go soft at XVGA and is there anything to be done?
2. do the new Macbook Pros go soft @ XVGA as well? (may get one soon)
3. everyone with beamers or TVs happy with DVI to VGA conversion?
4. anyone find a good beamer with native DVI input in the sub $1500 range?
Thanks for any advice!
