I can't find Iphoto albums in Finder

I have organized my photos in Iphoto into different albums. But these albums are not visible in Finder. Here the photos are organized by year, month and date which is fine sometimes but not always. As an example I have an album for photos that I wish to have developed, but I can't reach or find this album through Finder which is where the digital photo development services on Internet wants me to find the files/photos. What can I do? By the way my Iphoto is version 5.0.4.

Go into iPhoto, and open the album that you want to develop. Highlight all of them and click File --> Export, and then choose how big you want them. Export it to your desktop then on the development website browse to your desktop and select them.

Never mess with your photos in the library in finder. Chaos will ensue! Do anything you want to do to your photos from within the app itself. Forget that the library in finder is there -- ignore it! Photos will become corrupt, lost, etc. Do what draggerman11 said, and you will be fine. Just stay out of finder. Believe me, I speak from experience and from reading many posts on various forums on the same subject. The export feature will work for many uses when you want to do something with photos outside of the capabilities of iPhoto.

iPhoto stores all of your photos by date. Somewhere else it keeps a list of albums and which pictures are in each album, but it doesn't make actual folders for these on your drive and populate them with the photos. It would probably be a bit of a waste of space if it did, as currently it only needs to keep one copy of every photo.

Just use iPhoto as your "Finder for pictures". If you want to copy an album onto a disk, then just open iPhoto, select the album, CTRL-A to select all the photos in that album and then just drag them to your destination. Instant full-size copies.

In your case, make a new folder on the desktop, drag the pics from the album into there, then you can use those to upload to your printing service. You can delete that folder when you're done.
