Intel, AMD look to challenge Apple for media spotlight
January 6 - 16:10 ET: Intel and Advanced Micro Devices are set to unveil their fastest processors to date on Monday, according to Reuters. AMD will reportedly unveil the Athlon XP 2000+, which runs at 1.67GHz, while Intel is expected to introduce a new Pentium 4 chip running at 2.2GHz.
