G4 PowerBook Won't Update Firmware
I've been given an old G4 PowerBook 667MHz from a relative. He had tried to install OS X on it on top of OS 9 without updating the firmware - this appears to have corrupted OS 9 in some way.
I'm now trying to install the firmware onto it (as detailed: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.h...120092#English) - but I cannot run the update file. It looks to me like OS 9 is missing the software required to run the updater.
Can anyone direct me in the direction of how to fix this? I don't have any OS 9 install CD's im afraid.
